The Thames Basins Heath Special Protected Area needs be considered by the Council in relation to the potential impacts developments may have. The Council has produced some guidance material on considering this effect.

Materials

The Council welcomes use of the Ecohomes or BREEAM standards applied to developments in the Borough. The planning guidance available locally is currently drawn from the Local Plan, although a Local Development Framework is being developed that will guide future planning decisions.
