If you are interested in reducing the amount you consume, why not measure you ecological footprint? There are lots of website that can help you do this, with lots or just a little detail. They can show you where your biggest impacts are, and how you can make positive change.

Some things you may like to consider, that the Council can help with, are:

- Recycling and reducing your waste and energy conservation and alternative energy generation

World Wildlife Fund are working in collaboration with schools to put in place sustainable ideas through their Eco Schools programme.

- Reducing your travel impacts

Surrey County Council have publised maps of cycle routes in Surrey.

- Community living
