Enforcement responsibility is split between us as the
Local Authority and the Health and Safety Executive.
Employers: All employers in the Borough are required to register with us. If you intend to employ any person or persons to work in shop or office premises in Runnymede you are required by Section 49 of the Offices, Shops and Railway Premises Act 1963 and the Notification of Employment of Persons Order 1964, to register with the Council.You can now do this online by visiting The Health and Safety Executive website.
