BEWARE OF MISLEADING HEALTH & SAFETY LEAFLETS

It has come to our attention that many businesses within the Borough have been receiving leaflets and/or visits from companies claiming to help them achieve compliance with health and safety legislation.

These companies frequently quote prices for accident books and safety law posters upwards of £100.

These items are available direct from the publishers, HSE Books for the set price of:

• Health and Safety Law Poster £6.38

There is no need to pay any more than this.

In addition, these companies offer a set of health and safety leaflets for a price. Before parting with your money, you may wish to know that we have all the government approved leaflets which are available to you free of charge.
