Runnymede Borough Council has many Cycle routes.

As part of the Runnymede Cycling
Strategy, cycle routes and other facilities are being built in
the Borough.
The Strategy aims to create a cohesive and extensive network of
safer cycle/pedestrian routes across Runnymede and to link with
routes in neighbouring Boroughs.

Cycle Route from Ottershaw to St Peter's |
| The new Guildford Road cycle route along
the A320 from Chertsey to the St.Peter's Roundabout has been officially
opened. Further construction has also taken place from St.Peter's
roundabout to Ottershaw, Another section of this route is to be
constructed along the A320 from Ottershaw to the Borough Boundary.
When this is completed the route will link with the cycle route
from Woking. |

Other cycling News
12 new cycle shelters have been installed at 6 Runnymede schools
providing secure, covered parking for 500 cycles. The shelters have
been a huge boost in promoting cycling and cutting traffic congestion. |
