RECREATION GROUNDS There are many less formal recreation grounds and open spaces most of which have modern play equipment and other pitches for football. The most notable are:Kings Lane, Englefield Green Lyne Recreation Ground, Lyne Lane Pooley Green Recreation Ground, Thorpe Lea Road, Egham Hythe Thorpe Green, Thorpe Green Road, Thorpe Kings George V Playing Field, Trumps Green, Virginia Water Manorcrofts Recreation Ground, Manorcrofts Road, Egham A dog control scheme is in operation to reduce the amount of dog fouling. MORE INFORMATION Those wishing to utilise the facilities provided should contact the groundsman for bookings for tennis, bowls and putting and the Bookings Officer Jackie Evans, jackie.evans@runnymede.gov.uk at the Civic Offices, Station Road, Addlestone - 01932 425686 - will be happy to assist with pitch bookings for football and cricket.
