RECREATION GROUNDS

There are many less formal recreation grounds and open spaces most of which have modern play equipment and other pitches for football. The most notable are:

A dog control scheme is in operation to reduce the amount of dog fouling.

Those wishing to utilise the facilities provided should contact the groundsman for bookings for tennis, bowls and putting and the Bookings Officer Jackie Evans, jackie.evans@runnymede.gov.uk at the Civic Offices, Station Road, Addlestone - 01932 425686 - will be happy to assist with pitch bookings for football and cricket. The Council produces a range of free leaflets for those seeking recreational or historical information about Runnymede such as "Runnymede Rambles" which encourage walkers to explore the Borough's extensive and delightful public footpath network.
