THE
AIR FORCES MEMORIAL
Coopers Hill, Englefield Green. The names of over 20,000 men and women of
British Commonwealth and North West Europe Air Forces personnel, killed
in World War Two, who have no grave, are inscribed on the monument. Access
is available at any reasonable time.
CHERTSEY ABBEY
Site of a Benedictine Abbey which was originally founded in the seventh
century, the first religious house built in Surrey.
KENNEDY MEMORIAL
Runnymede Meadow, Egham. An acre of land, the site of the memorial, given
to the people of America in memory of President John F Kennedy. Access at
any reasonable time.
MAGNA
CARTA MEMORIAL
Runnymede Meadow, Egham. Erected by the American Bar Association
to commemorate the sealing of the Magna Carta's 750th Anniversary.

MINIATURE STEAM RAILWAY, LYNE, CHERTSEY
