The Egham and Staines
Conservation Volunteers were formed by a small group of local
enthusiasts in 1986 with the help of the British Trust for Conservation
Volunteers to whom we are affiliated.
We meet once a fortnight
throughout the year in the Runnymede and Spelthorne areas to perform
a variety of tasks, all aimed at improving the local environment.
No
great skills are required and all tools and refreshments are provided.
Could
you spare an hour or so on one of the Sunday tasks?
Please
contact the Group Secretary Norma Smith for details on 01784 454831
A Kingfisher
Leaflet "Helping You to Protect the Environment" is on
display in all libraries newspaper offices and other places.
